[Parish] Save The Date! June 14th - DC PRIDE PARADE

Dear St. Georgians,

 

A contingent from St George's will be marching in this year's DC Pride
Parade on Saturday evening June 14th, 2008.  This year we have two vehicles
entered and hopefully even more people will be there to march.  There will
be some kind of similar event at St. Thomas's before the parade.  Last year
it was a wonderful cookout with other wonderful Episcopalians from around
the metro DC area.  Times have not been finalized yet, but last year the
cookout was at 4 pm, we had to be in line for the parade by 6 pm and the
parade started at 6:30 pm.  This year's event should be very similar as far
as time frame.  I know everyone who participated last year had a great time.
If you marched last year, march again!  If you didn't march last year, here
is another chance to see what you missed.  

 

This is a wonderful event and a chance to get the good news about St.
George's Glenn Dale Parish out to new "friends we have not met yet"!
